Over the last two sessions, a few hundred of you watched me build Tableau extensions live with Claude Code: KPI cards, the real messy process, errors and all.

Here's what I kept learning: the magic isn't a perfect prompt. It's everything Claude Code needs to know before you prompt, the manifest rules, the API patterns, the hosting, the fixes.

So, I packaged it into a drop-in Claude Code skill. You add it, describe the extension you want, and it builds without the manifest errors, the hosting headaches, the "why won't it load."

The first time, that took me dozens of broken builds to figure out.
